Political ravings of a left-wing Pennsylvania grandmother

Welcome, friends, to my first efforts at blogging. In the days to come I plan to use this new tool to vent, to celebrate, and to promote the things closest to my heart. I look forward to hearing from you.
Born in conservative rural Pennsylvania, I found politics during the Kennedy campaign. Although I was too young to vote, I did convince my uncle, a Goldwater conservative, to vote for JFK - an accomplishment of which I am very proud. Since then I have lived in and around Boston, that bastion of liberality, and returned to PA where I have joined the fight to open the eyes of those less fortunate (e.g., conservative Republicans). I am mother of one daughter, spiritual mother to one son, and grandmother to three beautiful children for whom I hope to leave this world a better place.

i think we need get rid of bush and get someone competent in office. if this is the land of the free, then this is really a JOKE!!!
